Jeff Daniels, Athens native, headlines 'Turn of the Century' at the Goodman

Have you lived in Chicago for a while now, and yet never checked out the Goodman Theatre? Well, now is your chance! We are planning on getting group tickets to see Turn of the Century, which is a star-studded musical comedy that features Jeff Daniels....who as it just so happens was born in Athens, GA! We will be going on Thursday, October 2nd for the 7:30PM showing. Tickets will be around $50, which is about a $20 dollar discount from their normal prices. You do not have to commit 100% yet...but, if you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can solidify plans with the UGA Alumni Association to see how many tickets we need. More details to come!!!!!

Turn of the Century

By Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice
Directed by Tommy Tune
Featuring Jeff Daniels and Rachel York

The countdown to this season’s star-studded, romantic new musical begins!

When a cocktail pianist with a roving eye and an aspiring chanteuse with a penchant for the standards are brought together by fate—100 years before their time—the impossible happens. Don’t miss this romantic romp through time—and the American songbook—including music from Irving Berlin, Rodgers and Hart, Rodgers and Hammerstein and so many more of your favorite composers from the 20th century.
